One of my happiest memories was the day I was given the music award to my junior high school in Mishawaka, IN.  I was sitting with all the other kids when my name was announced for the award in eighth grade.  It was one of those moments when I was completly taken by surprise and totally unprepared for this recognition.  It was a brief, but very happy surprise!
